Mental health alert card launched by South Yorkshire Police

South Yorkshire Police have launched a new Mental Health Alert Card and passport.
It’s designed to help anyone with a long-term mental health problem speak to emergency services if they are in distress.
The card is for anyone who:
- lives in South Yorkshire
- has a mental health problem that affects their daily life
- is of any age
- can provide a supporting letter or proof of diagnosis from a GP or health professional
