ECHO NHS Screening Awareness Training dates for 2026

These 90-minute online session aim to increase knowledge and understanding of the five key NHS screening programmes:

  • Bowel Cancer Screening
  • Breast Cancer Screening
  • Cervical Cancer Screening
  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening
  • Diabetic Eye Screening

These sessions will highlight the importance of each programme and help participants identify opportunities to support reducing inequalities in screening uptake.

These training sessions are open to all family members and carers across all care service areas.

Working in partnership to increase the uptake of NHS Screening Programmes for everyone

These 90-minute sessions aim to increase knowledge and understanding of the 3 NHS Cancer Screening Programmes (Bowel, Breast and Cervical) and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) and Diabetic Eye Screening and the importance of them. By the end of these sessions, you will be able to identify opportunities where you can support reducing inequalities in uptake of screening programmes
